Volunteering for AIGA, while time-consuming, was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my professional career. I started as the events coordinator, although I had no real interest in coordinating events. But because of this position, I got face time with Chip Kidd, David Carson and other amazing designers, all giving me great advice and inspiring me to keep doing what I’m doing and be the best.
