The phrase “When it rains it pours” is actually a branding term used by the Morton Salt Company many many years ago. Morton found a way to engineer their salt to not stick together when it was humid out. Thus, when it was raining out, the salt would still pour. Very interesting! I got this little nugget of information from Debbie Millman’s presentation at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Thanks Debbie, I will now proceed impress my friends when I drop all that knowledge on them.
