Becoming a member of AIGA has broadened my understanding of what it means to be part of a creative community. Not necessarily the professional networking aspects but, rather, the bonding that occurs amongst peers. The connections that grow out of similar perspectives about life in general and not just having in common with someone their favorite this or that.
